who was the best shooter?
from beyond the arc.
bird, jordan or reggie miller?
Re: who was the best shooter?
Im a huge Jordan fan, but id say Reggie, Bird then Jordan. IMO if Jordan wasnt around Reggie would have been the man.
Re: who was the best shooter?
I'd say Bird out of those three , wasn't John Stockton pretty good as well ?

Bird was definately the best pure shooter of the 3, but it says from behind the arc. Reggie may be the best in game 3 point shooter of all time.
And i hate the pacers..lol im a Bulls fan.

Re: who was the best shooter?
definitely its reggie. hes an exceptional 3 point shooter, superb in nailing outbalanced shots and in drawing the foul. hes the guy you would want the ball with come crunch time

WOW.
I voted for Reggie as best 3 point shooter of the 3, but if i had these 3 on my team and it was crunch time. Reggie wouldnt even touch the ball. Michael Jordan is the best clutch athlete of all time and any sport. Also Bird was a serious clutch guy too. Way better than Reggie.

yeah. hes good. pretty much of a clutch player too. can nail 3 pointers even under so much pressure.
but miller is better than him or bird imo when it comes to drawing out fouls and nailing off-balanced triples. better even to jordan in that respect.

when i needed a triple to win a game, i want the ball to be at hands of reggie:
• he can nail 3 pointers even when faced with double teams
• he can nail off-balanced shots pretty well
• he can go for a quick two for a tier
• he can draw out fouls

Might be true, but he has only a 18.2 points per game average....
As you have skipped over my question above, the answer to your question is Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, leading all point score 38,387 with a 24.6 points per game average.

all time greatest in terms of 3 point shooting?
Re: who was the best shooter?
Three point shots did not start until 1986, before that they were 2 point shots only. Before 1986, to make a three point shot you had to make a 2 point and get fouled, and then make 1 point shot at the free throw line.
So how do you determine "ALL" time greastest 3 point shooter, when it has only been around for 20 years?

And before 1986 when, from beyond the arc, was only worth 2 points, they don't count?
Ok - going on 3 point shots only, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan are not even in the top three. So the orginal question is mute.
