Playboy Movie, who to play Hef..
Saw that we were all trying to pick the best roles for the new A-Team movie, but my and my girlfriend have been discussing the role for Hef in the new Playboy movie that's coming about about Playboys history and rise to the top...
It started when I read that they were giving serious consideration to using Tom Cruise to play Hef...... Now I know Tom Cruise has done some decent acting in his time, but his character always seems to be the same type of guy.. Tom Cruise...
He would entirely ruin anything good that this movie could be..
Now MY first and ONLY choise, would be Charlie Sheen as we see him now in "2 and a half men"..
If you look at early Hef pictures, they look so much alike.. In 2 and half men, Charlie even dresses like the old Hef.. He gets all the women in that show even though his character just sits back in is a bit dorky, it is still beleivable that these women would just go for him... THAT is who needs to lead the Playboy Empire and it's drones of horny big breasted women..
Not Tom Screwball Cruise who just signed on to do a movie called "Food Fight"..
Opinions or other suggestions for the role? Remember this is early days Hef as the magazine was building... I think it's going to be a great movie by the way... Hopefully they really get the atmosphere of the sexual revolution of the 60's and 70's where Playboy was such a leading influence and Hef was slap bang in the middle of it...

Well if it's from the rise you have to consider they will play a very young Hef also...

I would pick Sir Anthony Hopkins or Robert De Niro or Al Pacino or maybe Sly Stallone.
