I'm pretty sure this is an old topic but I was checking out fights at youtube and saw the DLH Carr fight. Good fight from Carr BTW but I totally forgot about this problem.
After all this years, anybody know what the hell he was talking about?? Anybody got any facts on this??
Perhaps the cross dressing?

I dont think it was ever revealed but alot was made of it cuz it was basically Oscars excuse for a bad performance. He kept going back to his personal problem which I thought was pretty annoying cuz if he wasnt gonna tell us then shut up about it and dont use it as a excuse. Its like Hatton losing to Floyd and blaming on summat that he cant reveal for whatever reason . Nobody would belive it so in this case I dont belive Oscar either .
Carr was an experieced chap, good left hand , good boxing brain and durable. He just made oscar work hard on what should have been a showcase night before the Ike Quartey fight. The personal problem was just Oscar looking for an exucse IMO.

DLH has probably always had some personal problems since his success. His relationship with his father, illegitimate babies, rape charges, cross-dressing, his father making him fire trainers for whatever reasons, etc...
I'm not feeling sorry for the guy with a 9 figure bank account, I'm just saying I'm sure he has a lot of stress to go with the good.

HAHA, yeah I remember some time ago people were joking about that. At the time I was reading, I really didn't get it. Now that I saw it, it really looked like he did. Looks very uncomfortable there too, either like he soiled himself or he was going to cry.
