Re: De La Hoya's Last Fight
I'd just like to know what is so wrong with Oscar fighting Pac! I mean there wasn't all this complaining when Oscar who won his first world title at SFW moved all the way to middleweight and took on the most successful middleweight of all time in Bernard Hopkins.

I don't see anything wrong either but if ODLH is in the sentence, it's just plain wrong and unnaceptable no matter what it is:rolleyes:.
Re: De La Hoya's Last Fight
...for me the so called hype of this last great stand is just getting plain old is all. I like oscar, and although i've been criticle of this whole thing to his defense it wasn't his fault about the floyd thing and i'm not sure if the daily constant changes to his plan are all to blame either. For me it's kinda summed up like this, first it was the three fight plan, then it's the two fight plan, then they over hype his fight with forbes to the point that it was almost irratating to even watch, but we all say no biggie it's just a tune up fight although they treated it like he was fighting the biggest fight of his career (hbo to blame for all that) then there's the talk of cotto, tony, etc....but wait (brakes !!!) maybe mora is the guy ??!! Then it's back to maybe tony then pac if he's willing to fight in oscars living room for free..then forget all that let's fight williams....just speaking for myself here but it's all just getting real old. Call us when a fight is made .....whoever it's against and i'll try and jump on board and get excited..if for nothing else just because hate or love him he is a huge part of boxing and i respect what he's done...but this whole i'm gonna fight wlad one week and ivan calderon the next while teasing us with eveyone in-between is drivin me nutz.
Re: De La Hoya's Last Fight
It seems that DelaHoya's last fight will eventually be against Manny Pacquiao... ;)

That's right and regardless of what his advisors told him he TOOK THE CHALLENGE. No wonder he has the resume he has and was not beaten by the first guy he faced in his prime like...you-know-who:rolleyes:.
