Today was a good surf day.
Yeah Spicolli and Salty,Im braggin on this one sorry boys.
Today Monday 1st ,took the day off ,looked on the net saw no one out :o at my favorite break, sets comming at head high touch over occasoinally.30 knots of wind blowin straight offshore bit tough like rain comming backwards after each wave went through but it was holding them up until they threw out over the shallow reef. Honeysuckle point is a long exposed reef and it breaks down the side of it in about 1 to 3 feet of water so the wave has a varied barrel shape ,goes floppy then round as when it goes shallow but barrels the whole way on some.
Ha;D:D:) only two of us in the water that could surf inside, 8degrees in the air, sunny to start, fuck knows about the water temp but your head aches on the first dive, warmer than the air though, boots wetsuit hoods got one medium size and a 4 to 5 second pit.
HAha the swell is comming up ,fuck work tomorrow too!

Where Salty is from that is a very small day and summer, usually Western Australian waves have teeth built in , aside from the real ones that linger below the surface.
The ocean sure does have a way of draining all your stresses out though.

Yeah changes where you are on the beach really, go to the right of the car park you get righty's. It's sand banks are usually in the same sort of area just the width changes usually. Can't wait till summer, i'm dieing to just even lay at the beach and go for a dip with a bbq for good measure.
Re: Today was a good surf day.
This is a great site so you know when to pull time off work for the more important things in life.
Check out whats comming around the bottom of Africa :o click on south Atlantic. Oceanweather Inc: Current Marine Data
That storm is close to 3ooo miles round! Any ships out there and they are dead.
Re: Today was a good surf day.

Man Andre, I just found this one.I was at the height of hauling arse outta here that day lol. You really have the life there my man.....lucky bastard ;D;D,.....Had some temptations while evaced to Panama City last week,Micro waves to you brah but even inside of Port St. Joe,they were hit or miss, formed up chest high but just as quick all chopped & raggad soapy.Right now the gulf is hoping to say the least. That has to be something with the cam's 24/7 and off ya go....nice ;D
Re: Today was a good surf day.
I wouldn't need to go to the beach with the amount of rain we get over here in the UK during even during the summer.
