Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
When manager Steve Nelson read the report on Fightnews that no one wants to fight David Haye, the first words out of his mouth were, "That's not true, Hasim Rahman is willing and able to fight him." Nelson says negotiations for a fight between Haye and the former heavyweight champion have been going on for a couple months with no concrete offers from the Haye camp and Rahman is waiting for the opportunity. "To my knowledge we have been in negotiations with Haye," stated the Rock. "I think David wants to make himself out to be the best heavyweight. He can't beat any of the champions. He wants to use his cruiserweight title to give him one opportunity for a big payday." Nelson and Rahman say that they are willing to fight Haye in England. "They have not made a formal offer to us, so that shows they don't want to fight Hasim," said Nelson. Rahman claims his team has never come out with outrageous money demands so that should not be a sticking point. "David, you can't beat any heavyweight out there," continued Rahman. "No one is ducking you. All you have to do is step up to the plate with me. If he wants to fight, I will make sure the canvas is full of hay so Haye has something soft to fall on!"

Who would have thought...there is actually a fight which I would be rooting for Rahman...
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
reguardless of who haye fights.....for any reason he just better pray he doesn't loose. He and his fans will never hear the end of it.
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
rahman would be an easy fight for haye now
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
...definatly an easy fight. But stranger things have happened, With a whole lot less pre fight talking.
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
Haye is chinny and Rahman and can punch. Haye should win, but that combo always makes an upset possible!
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
Haye would whip his ass three ways from Thursday and twice on Saturday.;D

Im sorry but that is not true , Rahman has never been chinny and he has some power , so explain how its an easy fight >???? yes Haye should win if he is going to do anything in the HW division , but EASY FIGHT WTF.
Sorry i do not agree with that.
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
After what Rahman pulled against Toney i wouldnt give him the time of day. Hopefully Haye sees that and doesnt give him the pay.
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
Rahman is great for Haye is defo not an easy fight but he is a name the casual fan know in the UK and if he was to get knocked out he could fall back on the fact that so did Lennox and get a rematch without losing to much respect if this happens with an unknown Russian he will struggle
I fear Haye is believing his own hype and pricing himself out of the fights this is the problem with fighting and promoting at the same time ask Audley
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
Maybe Haye should fight Sprott. If Sprott takes him out, we can change his alias on boxrec to "The Exposer."

I agree but his fans like fans of any other fighter will have excuses. Haye can afford to lose a time or two but not often
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
I actually wouldn't mind seeing Haye Fight Rahman. I think it would a good measuring stick for him in the HW division. Anything can happen though so hopefully it doesn't back fire on him. I really wanna see Haye do well in the HW division.
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
There is some truth in Rahman's words. IMO Haye is taleneted and can do things in the division, but he's cetainly looking for the easy way.
When he says he can KO Wlad I believe him, but he wants that shot with as little resistance as possible. He doesn't want to fight all comers and prove his mettle against all styles, certain styles he ain't comfortable with.
It's one big problem with boxing today and thats people expecting title shots after one fight against a hand picked 'top 10' opponent. It shouldn't be a question of Rahman OR Toney OR Sprott OR Maskaev, plenty of time will have past since his final fight at cruiser and end of spring 2009 for him to have fought the lot, and if he truly believed in his talent ((and wanted to prepare himself against a variety of Heavy's too be able to reign for a time afterwards) these fights would have happened, or at least against simlar names in the top 25.
Holyfield was truly the undisputed cruiser champ (no cunninghams in his closet), yet he fought 6 times at heavy before his shot.

Rahman is easy after you get him tired. It really depends on how hard you can make him work. Against Tua (2nd fight), Rahman was fat, but light on his feet and had enough to last 12 rounds easy. Against Maskaev (1st and 2nd fight) he had to work and got tired. Now if Haye thinks he can just clear him out he jumps on him, but what if his power can't get rid of Rahman? To my knowledge, Lennox is the only one to clear Rahman out without him being tired first.
Re: Rahman: Bring on Haye !!!!!
Rahman will lose unless he KO's the Hayemaker in 1
