I just finished watching Bennie Briscoe vs Marvin Hagler and the fight reminded me alot of Cotto vs Margarito with Hagler as the boxer/counter punching and Briscoe as the costant stalker with nonestop punching...........
I also finally got to see Carlos Monzon vs Bennie Briscoe 2 and man Briscoe did badly stun Monzon but my point is i think there quite similar style wise and the way they both cut off the ring and they both have titanium chins aswell thoughts ?
Man were do you get to see all these fights ? DVD ?
Some on DVD some downloading and some with what my Grandad and his brothers recorded and taped as they were boxers and have quite a few rare fights.Quote:

He done pretty well and was able to work on Marvin Hagler against the ropes and even gave Marvin Hagler quite a nasty cut Briscoe never took a backward step and kept the pressure on at all times Marvin Hagler was able to use nice movement and counter puncher this was back in the days when Marvin Hagler was a boxer but Briscoe done himself proud against Marvin Hagler and gave him a tough nights work.Quote:
