Question for you audiophiles... Ripping CD's
I have a few questions about this stuff for those audiophiles out there. So far, I've been using Window's Media Player to rip Windows Media Audio Files @ 192KBPS, but I'm starting to wonder if this is the best way to do it. I've head good things about EAC (Exact Audio Copy), and I'm going to download it.
I obviously want the best quality possible, at least CD quality, but I don't really want to have songs that are 40+ megs in size if I can avoid it. Any advice on getting the best sound quality possible?
I was thinking of switching from the Windows Audio Files to MP3 format at 320KPBS, would that be better?

Maybe I should make my third Caballero - Molitor prediction thread so the same 3 people can respond again.

So now I have EAC and the Lame 3.98 codec. I've been using that, but I'm not sure if it's better to just use Media Player and encode in WMA files...
