Florantes Contes conqueror Raul "Rayito" Garcia retained his title last night in his hometown of La Paz, Mexico.
Wining a lopsided UD outworking and outboxing Jose Varela the whole way through.

Not only is Raul a Minimumweight champ but he has never fought outside of Mexico and even outside his home state.
Which is probably why his 1st title defense went unoticed.

I noticed it as he's in one of the stables for the fantasy league. I posted the result in there earlier this afternoon (my time)! I was surprised he didn't win by KO!

I wouldn't mind seeing him face the Niida/ Gonzalez winner
