Talk about how Hatton would destroy Pacquaio or JMM on here, but go look back at what people said about Floyd when he had just beaten Gatti.

They said Hatton was too BIG and too Strong for PBF, that Floyd hadn't foughten anyone like Hatton.

I love how now people think PBF was too big for Hatton, and how Hatton is would handily beat a couple of the best boxers in the world.

How about everyone saying that Floyd Mayweather had to fight and beat ODLH to secure his legacy then its "ODLH is old and shot".

Everybody said Oscar was old and shot after the fihgt, before people were saying that Oscar was way too big, and way too good for Mayweather to beat, then suddenly the fight being at 154, and OScar being 20 pounds bigger then Mayweather naturally didn't matter at all.

IMO PBF and Hatton are similar natural size its just Mayweather was too good.

As long as there is someone decent between 140-154 some guys on here will never give PBF credit and just say he is ducking everyone.

shit this topic makes me reminisce. This was the time of me getting out of a long term relationship and getting back into boxing. I was all psyched that Mayweather would face off against hatton.

after all, we didn't know how truly beat pussy gtti was until gomez whopped him. Past is 20/20 and all.

And at the time we were all ignoring the injuries/layoff/etc that tszyu had going on when he TRAVELED to fight hatton's home turf to fight him. Still remember: that fight was about even when Tsyzu sat and didn't get up...hatton was looking gooood then wasn't he?


That was a good time. I remember telling friends that it was gonna be the next thing and they had to get in on the upcoming hatton-mayweather showdown...that was like 2 years before it happened? Ha ha ha! My young ignorant self. That was when I though hatton was better than he was.

But the memories..
