David Haye V Eddie Chambers
Hearing this!!
Tough test if true.
8 - Eddie Chambers
His only loss is to fellow contender Povetkin in a final eliminator, boxes well but lacks the zing in his punches to carry him over the finish line. Like Johnson, would be a hungry opponent and that may serve Haye better in the long run than an unsatisfactorily quick knockout of a faded household name but there have been rumours Team Haye has been compiling videos of the American.
Chances of facing Haye: Looking strong

Hope your right.I would be gutted if they anounced he was fighting a no name bum.
Re: David Haye V Eddie Chambers

Re: David Haye V Eddie Chambers

From what I've seen of Chambers he's got quick hands although he didn't let them go enough vs Povetkin. He's pretty good defensively & is still relatively young & hungry. Plus he is not one of these huge heavyweights so Haye would be quite similar size wise. His chin seems solid so far too.

Re: David Haye V Eddie Chambers
If this is true and its jd chapman, then Haye really is just a gobshite, specially seeing as Johnson and Barret are willing to take the short cash and travel for it;D

Re: David Haye V Eddie Chambers
It is Chapman apparently:rolleyes:
He crapped his pants when he watched videos of kevin Johnson and wanted nothing to do with Toney or Barret;D
He thought hed get a straight shot at Klitschko by mouthing off, he thinks he'll emulate Sanders and blitz him;D;D;D
Re: David Haye V Eddie Chambers
A bout against Chambers would have been a cop-out. There's nothing dangerous about him- he's not a true heavyweight. Like Chris Byrd, he put weight on his trunk and is able to retain his handspeed. A gassed-out Povetkin was able to put Chambers into his shell. Haye is probably stronger and would do pretty much the same thing on the way to a relatively easy victory after 6 rounds of patty-cake from Eddie.
Re: David Haye V Eddie Chambers
Ha ha, read this, Haye is looking like a right wally, he hasnt got em to sign anything but announces fights, what a twat;D

Re: David Haye V Eddie Chambers
Good stuff. Chamber's and Witherspoon are good freinds and sparring partner's. Maybe I can sneak in there and get a few rounds with Chamber's before he fight's Haye. :lhdevil:
