Joe Calzaghe is slowing down and his punches are becoming less and less effective, although it would be amazing to see Calzaghe vs Pavlik/Dawson or Tarver it would also be a silly and greedy move. I just can't see Calzaghe staying undefeated against Dawson or Pavlik, Chad Dawson is like the modern day version of Herol Graham and Kelly Pavlik is like the modern day version of Carlos Monzon.
u cant compare lacy or kessler to pavlik at this point
why not wiv kessler, kessler would UD him in my opinion

funnily enough i watched Calzaghe v Eubank the other night and JC had him in a bad way a few times in that fight, he had some decent power back then... if calzaghe hands had stood up through out his carrer, he could of prolonged it for a few more fights...

I had seen a few of Jeff Lacy's fights before the Joe Calzaghe fight, and he looked like an average fighter against Omar Sheika, Syd Vanderpool, and he had never faced an elite fighter like Kelly Pavlik has. Well to be honest i give him credit for the Mikkel Kessler win because Mikkel Kessler was a proven good fighter. But i don't really give him credit for the Jeff Lacy win because i never really thought much of Jeff Lacy, but if i was in Joe Calzaghe's shoes i would retire after the RJJ fight.Quote:
