He's been in a coma for two months his eyes are open today for the first time. Oscar has been comatose since his bout with Delvin Rodriguez on July 16 and underwent emergency surgery for severe swelling and bleeding of the brain. University Hospital officials say he's now awake, off the ventilator and upgraded from critical to stable condition.
Oscar's doctor and his family will hold a press conference today at the hospital. Meanwhile, this is a great start in the long, long recovery back.

I mean regardless this had to be over the limit and bankrupted Oscar.

I remember when our little crew here, was watching the fight together, we were all kind of stunned when he crumpled the way he did. Little did we know then, that it would take 2 months to finally get some good news on him.
