ODLH vs Pacquiao already sold out???
Tickets went on sale this morning at 10. There are several news reports saying the fight is sold out and has already resulted in the second highest gate in history with 17 Million. But I went to Ticketmaster to buy a ticket and there are still a bunch of great seats left. Is this just a marketing ploy to increase interest in the fight?

I think it's already sold out since it's reported by many reliable sites like ESPN and FightNews...
I guess when there's only 100 tickets left out of the 16,000 tickets for sale then it's already considered sold out and considering that the fight is still more than 2 months to go... So this might explained what you have experienced...

I agree that many of those tickets are at the hands of scalpers right now... Scalpers knew that they can make a killing out of this very in-demand Hoya-PAC tickets...

It's hard to argue as a fan against fights like this when it's so easy to make the big cash, i'm not a big fan of this thing but shit i sure as hell don't blame them Scalpers or the tooth fairy it doesn't matter as far as golden boy is concerned as long as the money is in thier acct at the end of the day five people could show up and the rest of the tickets could be thrown away.

Well for a megafight this magnitude involving the top 2 most popular boxing superstars, these prices are just right... intended for Vegas high rollers... ;) since they will be betting in hundreds of thousands of dollars, these prices are just loose change for them... ;D

This is really not a boxing match, it is a big named attraction taking place in the ring. Unless they are die hard, (i.e. I want to suck DLH and/or Pac's d***), then I believe these scalpers are going to be left with alot of unsold tickets--and a huge deficit!
ODLH should be fighting Margarito, and Pacquiao should definitely fight either JMM or Nate Campbell at this point.
Diego Corrales couldn't carry his devastating power up to WW, and he was almost 6 feet tall, but you are all being conned into thinking this fight will be competitive. Let me say this now--OLDH does the same thing he did to Steve Forbes and FINALLY goes away!
I for one will not be paying for this fight. What a disgrace!
