Khan to fight on the Oscar v Pac undercard? Or is Roach Omnipresent?
Steve Bunce put this out earlier that he thinks their is a v good possibility this is gonna happen...
The Facts are.
Roach cannot be in 2 different countries at once AND Frank Warren will not risk an Amir Khan fight without it selling out over here and sticking him on the undercard and showcasing him stateside in a winnable fight would make great buisiness sense and save him huge embarresment (and with a guarantee of no financial loss i.e. ticket sales)
The signs are definately there.;)

Re: Khan to fight on the Oscar v Pac undercard? Or is Roach Omnipresent?
Not going to happen.
1. Khan just suffered a bad KO, he needs several months off to recover.
2. He needs a low-pressure fight when he comes back. Fighting on the undercard in Vegas on the biggest PPV of the year is not low-pressure, no matter how easy the opponent is.
3. Oscar-Pac is a Golden Boy/Top Rank card. Why would they showcase a Frank Warren fighter?

1. That was before he got his a** KTFO'd
2. He may have appeared in front of a bigger crowd, but he has never appeared on a card that will have as many viewers (tickets+PPVs) as Oscar-Manny. Not even close.

That sounds like a recipe to get KO'd again.
Re: Khan to fight on the Oscar v Pac undercard? Or is Roach Omnipresent?
Sounds as if Sky will buy the Oscar fight and sell it as part of the PPV for Amir. Very low.
Re: Khan to fight on the Oscar v Pac undercard? Or is Roach Omnipresent?
Warren is no way gonna risk him with anyone remotley dangerous...
Back to the drawing board then;D

IF it happened it wouldn't be like Khan is cheif undercard support. He would fight early doors, when the venue is pretty empty, which suits live TV for Britain.. This scenario has happened lots of time in the past with Brit fighters on big US promotions.
That's my guess anyway.

Exactly. You combine that with the fact that Warren would have to come to some agreement with Arum AND Golden Boy, why the hell would they want Khan on the card? It's not as if he's a known entity in America, why bother? There are plenty of prospects at the same weight that would be easier to put on the card.
Re: Khan to fight on the Oscar v Pac undercard? Or is Roach Omnipresent?
If it's true that Roach is gonna train him then he has to be in the US come fight night.
Let's not forget that Golden boy reps have been in the UK on behalf of Haye recently so it's not too hard for Warren to sniff em out, hook up and do business.
Low risk for Warren in terms of filling a venue too because it's already a sell out.

Khan will not recover from a 55 second KO against anyone!
