Who has had lots of world title fights without ever winning a title?
I start it off with Rocky Lockridge, with 6, as follows ...
Eusebio Pedroza (2) WBA Featherweight
Wilfredo Gomez WBA Super FeatherWeight
Julio Cesar Chavez WBC Super Featherweight
Tony Lopez (2) IBF Super Featherweight
probably there are guys out there with more.
Nice thread but i have to point out that Rocky Lockridge won the Super Featherweight title 3 times if i recall. Unless i read the thread wrong bro ? let me know.Quote:

Frank Bruno went 1-4 in his title fights. KO'd in 11 by Witherspoon, KO'd in 5 by Tyson, KO'd in 7 by Lewis, Broke through and beat McCall then lost to Tyson again.

OK another with 4 is Ruben Castillo, with losses to Arguello, Sanchez, LaPorte, and Chavez. I do see a victory for something called WBO NABO lightweight title, but I assume that's not a world title ??
Among current active boxers, I say Super Flyweight Jose Navarro... I wonder why this guy always get the title shots... I think he got 4 shots but unfortunately failed in all 4 ...
Navarro must have a very good manager... ;)

Victor Polo has had several attempts at a title 5 I believe...
