How many members here have a swear filter on their system and use it? I have been noticing lately alot of posts with words that contain ** in them and just as many post with the same words without the ** in them.

I don't know how to turn it off. The word bitch is always erased on mine.Quote:

I too see some swearing with ***'s so I think maybe people have just put them in there themselves.. I know I have done it on occasion..

Funny thing is, if you know there is a filter, why swear, if all it is going to do is star it out. Can not really see a point to swear on here anyway, but that is a personal choice and have no problems with others doing it. Just seems a waste of time and engery to type something that is going to be starred out or blanked out all together.Quote:
