Partly this thread is a test, ICB and all that so if you respond fine.
Its odd, I usually make up my mind quicker but I could see two very different things happening in this fight. I could see Tarver looking like an old fighter, being beaten fairly handily by the younger faster fresher fighter.
Then I could see Tarver timing Dawson and I'm not really sure about Dawson's chin.
Or it could be something in the middle, just a close fight.
I don't know, I guess I'll go Dawson.

Yea Tarver hasn't really looked good enough over the last few years to warrant being favoured imo, but with Dawsons seemingly shaky chin Tarver always has a good chance in this one. More than a punchers chance obviously, he's rangy, a southpaw and does crack harder than anyone Dawsons fought by a bit. I would lean Dawson as well, probably a UD, but Tarver should have his moments and if he did manage get into better form than he's shown in a long while he could even blast him out at some point.Quote:

Good win for Dawson,I thought Tarver was busier but he was just having no effect on Dawson,Dawsons combos and power were visibly giving Tarver problems,think Tarvers better off retiring 39!!

Tarver, unbelievably had less stamina than 'Bad'.
I'm finding the Light heavyweight division very tedious indeed now.
