2009 Hall of Fame Ballots are out
The IBHOF. has released their ballots for the 2009 inductions. There are 45 names on the Modern ballot and fifty on the Old Timers ballot. Names reportedly not included were Lupe Pintor, Danny "Little Red" Lopez, and Eddie Booker which, IMO, is disgraceful!
The ballots hopefully will be released for the public to see at some point so you can judge for yourselves.

Something tells me Lennox Lewis is in there...

Also gonna go out on a limb here and say that yet another year goes by where Jung Koo Chang, Chartchai Chionoi, Ki Soo Kim, Myung Woo Yuh, Yoko Gushiken, Sot Chitalada, Hiroshi Kobayashi, Masao Ohba, Pone Kingpetch and Jiro Watanabe go unoticed...
I want to see Hilario Zapata in there... He always mixed it up against the best and despite suffering loses the man bounced back when people thought he was done.

Actually, I think this may be the year when they finally give some of the Asian greats their due. I hear that several are on the ballots--but that's just decent hearsay. But you nailed the right ones. Ohba is my favorite.
