Fans that make you hate a boxer
Is there a boxer you like out there but fans take you to the point of ending up hating the boxer?
In my case, it's Cotto. I saw how he was worshipped here and whoever dared himself to mention his flaws or what he could improve got negative reps or nasty messages and so on. When he got in the ring with Margarito I thought "Finally!". I like Cotto but some fans really annoyed me to the point of just wanting to see Cotto loose. What a sweet fight it was vs Margarito. Even use that as my avatar and signature pic.
Same thing with Pac. Sure, he has beaten some Mexicans: Morales, Barrera, and Diaz (I don't count Marquez) and that has not made me hate him. A nice humble guy who is not a trash talker but after seeing Pac fans worship him the way they do, man! I just want to see him loose.

No comment by a fan could make me hate Calzaghe more than i do , as it isnt possible to hate more than that.
Also fans of David Haye ( and i like Hate as a fighter ) are going a bit far with BLAH BLAH BLAH , the guy hasnt even fought yet and they are saying he will be so fast and hit harder than Lennox Lewis ? wtf.

For me it's PAC hands down, there are just too many topics about him. It's to the point that I try to not look at any PAC related threads and I'm not definately not paying for ODLH - PAC, because that fight isn't at all about the best man winning, it's just about seeing how old ODLH is.
Plain and simple ODLH wins, he was too big for PAC. PAC wins, ODLH is just too old. It doesn't matter to me that it's going to be close, it's going to be close for all the wrong reasons.

i hate CALZAGHE and his youtube fans are the worst. them losers think hes great because hes 45-0 so. i hate tarvers fans also they think cause he knocked roy jones thats gonna put him in the HOF pleazzzzzzzzzzzzzze

I dislike "Pacfans" because it makes it hard for me to be a fan of Pacquiao.
For example, when I was at the press conference for De La Hoya/Pacquiao, people looked at my t-shirt (which had Pac on it) and said to me "I don't even have to ask you who you think is winning." And when I answered De La Hoya, they were in complete shock!!

James Toney fans...there used to be moreof them and people who thought he could beat either Klitschko Brother.
Ricky Hatton/Joe Calzaghe fans.....worthless hooligans
David Haye fans, they are just off the reservation....I think Audley Harrison's lack of success really had a lot to with how much these people irrationally support Haye
I also don't like the rabid Klitschko fans usually the ones who are racist....I feel I am pretty reasonable with my opinions on them (unless someone pisses me off and then it's to the mattresses)

I completely agree with you on this one. Although I don't hate Pac, I'm actually a fan, but some of his fans just annoy the $hit out of me, and make me want to root against him.
Not only are there too many topics about him, but there are some that will keep trying to bring Pac into a topic that isn't even about him. :mad:
Every move Pac makes, a thread has to be created. Soon there will be threads titled "Manny maybe smaller than Oscar, but he takes a bigger dump", "Manny goes to the grocery store, pics included", "Manny has an ingrown toenail, will he be able to fight?" blah, blah, blah

Never hated a fighter because of the fans. I;m to big a fan of the sport to let some random internet people influence any opinion i have ona fighter because they might talk about him to much.
90% of people if they are honest hate fighters because when they started off they didn't think they would do well, but have and are always routing against them until the time they can turn around and scream i told you so. Or the guy beat their guy and they can't accept that.

Really it's pretty pathetic to "hate" a fighter because of his fans.
Some of the fighters I like MOST have idiot fans.
It's only natural popular fighters will have SOME delusional, annoying, morons following them. But the majority of fans are reasonable concerning the guy they like most.
