Is it just me or is Steven Luevana on the undercard for every HBO card ever?
He's fighting on the undercard of Pavlik Hopkins against Billy Dib.
Is it just me noticing him more than others ordoes he fight on every HBO card? It seems that nearly every card I watch he is the warm up act?
I'm presuming he's a De La Hoya fighter? If he is fair play to Oscar for getting him so much exposure.
He's probably the most recognisable featherweight in the world these days which considering that he's not really all that good shows what an excellent job his promoters have done with him.

He should be fighting a rematch with Santiago,Pretty good scrap but Imo,Luevano appears to have taken a step back.Fighting more aggressively and taking quite a few shots. Not too familiar with Dib.

Luevano is a Top Rank boxer (not a Golden Boy)... Must be one of Arum's favorite boxers... He constantly earned 100 grand or more per fight by regularly fighting as undercard in big PPV events...
.

Luevano is a very good fighter, his fight with Santiago was just awesome but all of the bouts on the Cotto-Margarito undercard get overshadowed.

I think Steven should be given an award for most improved fighter...
I mean really, anyone who followed his career from early on would have never guessed he'd be fighting at Championship level like this. The kids vastly improved over the years.
I think he needs to move up now and go into the Super Feather div. Luevanos made a fan out of me as time has passed.
He needs to be more of the slick southpaw and less brawler. He can take guys apart with his style and if he managed to get back up from a Terdsak punch then he can take a punch.
Move up in weight is what I say...

I think we've talked about his Mick, how we both didn't think he was anything special really early on.
He has improved, I'm still not sure he's top drawer but he's a good fighter.
