the fight of the weekend ( at least in my world)
After the sweet treat last weekend with Bernard (Ghostbuster) vs Pavlik (Casper the Ghost)
I look forward to this fight at SMW and no its not Somebody- Kessler I cant even remeber the german dudes name ;).
It is:
At The Bell Centre, Montreal, Canada
(Showtime) Lucian Bute (22-0) vs. Librado Andrade (27-1)
(The Ring Magazine #3 Super Middleweight vs. #4)
I predict a KO, and since Andrade is very hard to KO I say its Lucians 0 that gotta go
What are your vies on this fight ?
Re: the fight of the weekend ( at least in my world)
If Bute stops Andrade it will send a massive shudder through the super middleweight division then him and Kessler should get it on.
Re: the fight of the weekend ( at least in my world)
I don't see Bute stopping Andrade but I do see him winning.
Re: the fight of the weekend (at least in my world)
I really like Andrade. He has shown a lot of class since his only loss. He reminds me of a larger margarito at times. Methodical, lanky, powerful volume puncher. I think He can pull this one off to Bute the less-well-known European fighter.
There is still something a little more to be desired for Bute's resumee... and I will say this will help that a lot.
Re: the fight of the weekend ( at least in my world)
Excellent matchup between two of the most underrated guys in boxing. Bute will win
Re: the fight of the weekend ( at least in my world)
Lucian Bute by UD = 116-112, 117-111, 117-112.
Re: the fight of the weekend ( at least in my world)
Can´t you be a bit more specific? What will the punch stats be?

Lol you may find it funny but sometimes im spot on with the scorecards, i remember i almost predicted the Matt Skelton vs Ruslan Chagaev scorecards exactly. I was only one point out on predicting it and heres the proof.
Heres my post not long before the fight and heres the link look on page 1.
Chagaev isn't great but he is good enough to handle someone like Skelton, Chagaev will win a UD 117-111, 118-110, 117-111.

Re: the fight of the weekend ( at least in my world)
Mundine would knock them both out, as would Danny Green.

Regarding Mundine, he hasn´t fought a decent fighter since Kessler.
So I´ll bet we never going to know the answer to your statement :o

He has fought and beaten a few Top Ten fighters and he was the WBA champ, remember. All the fighters in SMW are ducking him now. Even Danny Green is having a hard time finding fights, cause people are running scared of the Aussies. ;)

Technically he's Romanian, unless he's received his citizenship. Interestingly enough, Andrade also trains in Montreal, though I don't think he lives there full time like Bute.

Well done, ICB! :)
The supermiddleweights are starting to sizzle again
Both of these guys would beat Mundine
