I always wonder what boxers mean when they say things like that..."Only god knows who is going to win". Like they actually believe it has something to do with morality or even faith? That there is some divine prerequisite in order to win? Just seems so bizzare to me that someone could be around the sport and still feel that way.
The creator has the master blueprint as to how he made you, so asking the creator for a little advantage never hurts. The only problem is, so many religions but probably only one creator.
If you believed someone with mighty powers guided you in your battles and you also believed in your personal capabilities that you can defeat your opponents then it's a very big plus in your every fight... compared to no beliefs/guidance and no confidence in yourself...
Beliefs coupled with real hard work, real hard training and best preparation will mostly produce excellent results... .
