Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
Have your vote, regardless of where you live, and in anonymity if you wish.
Feel free to throw turds at each other.
Re: Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
Obama without question.
McCain would probably be better than Bush who wouldn't but I can't see how anybody would vote for him in a situation where the thing is one heartbeat away from the presidency. And why reward Republicans for being such utter fuckups.
Re: Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
although im not american i like mcCain he kinda reminds me like my uncle trying to tell cheap jokes all the time. lol
and shut up youngblood!! you bastard buy!!
Re: Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
I'd like Obama to win but let's face it, he's too black and too Islamic sounding to be President.
Best to vote for the crazy, gun toting, senile, war mongering old guy.
at least he's white.
Re: Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
Hopefully gonna stay up through the night tomorrow and watch it all unfold, I hope Obama wins, I don't profess to be an expert on current US politics but he atleast seems to have avision on the economy, which is going to affect us all at the ned of the day.
Plus I just like the guy
Re: Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
I'd vote for Obama if I could. Not that I'm particularly left of center. Though I tended to favor his policies this time. And I had a very low impression of McCain and his campaign tactics. Not that Obama is totally innocent, but McCain was something else. And then there is that whack job republican VP candidate. I particularly liked her contentions about climate change, which go massively against worldwide scientific consensus.
Re: Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
I created another thread identical to this. My bad. I didn't see it.

Actually I voted for that option. Seemed the most worthy out the 3.

The absolute monopoly your country has on our television. Has to be atleast 80% of all programming.

Well, the way things happen in the United States have an effect on what happens in Canada. This also works in reverse, to a much lesser extent though.
With the economy especially, US policies affect Canada, because USA is Canada's biggest trading partner. Also, Canada is at war in Afghanistan because of the US. So we have a stake.
Besides, it's only politics, it aint rocket science.
Re: Saddo U.S.Presidential Poll
It doesn't matter who wins. They're both reptillians. Probably.

I wasn't implying that it was difficult to figure out, moreso that it's something that i wouldn't even have the inclination to figure out (the government of another country)
but what youngblood clearly states makes sense.. and answers my question..
I'm just coming from a perspective where I don't even think i've ever followed any politics in England, so it's just weird/interesting to see a different side of things..

True enough. Here, if you watch TV or read the newspaper, you can't avoid US politics. British politics, you have to go looking for it. People in Canada are generally interested in US politics. I would imagine that Canadian politics really doesn't interest too many Americans. Just a guess.
