I am getting so excited for the 8th!!!

Just watched the second installment of 24/7, and I am so hyped for this fight.

After watching countless Roy Jones interviews, he seems different than he has been in a long time. I hope it isn't just words, but he actually seems to be enjoying boxing, and willing to put it on the line. I am starting to get the sense his last 3 bouts have just been building steps towards a fight like this. I truly believe if he can either make Joe box, or if he will actually throw punches off the ropes he will win this fight. Roy's fighting mind is his own worst enemy just as his physical assets make him potentially JOe's most dangerous competition.

All that being said I thought Roy would let it all hang out against Tarver in their third fight, Tarver couldn't land anything when Roy didn't let him, Tarver couldn't deal with his speed, Roy said he was out for revenge, but he just bullshited us all.

And I still believe he is a huge underdog, Joe Calzaghe is a great fighter, one of my favorites still fighting, and I think he will do a number on Jones because of what the last 5 years would indicate.

However Roy is my all time favorite, and I know he has it in him if he reaches deep enough. I don't think I have ever been more excited for a fight.

What i didnt like about Roy was his constant reference to god. He never used to do that as much in his prime. Now its as if he needs help . Sign of delusion IMO

I want Joe to win, but i hope that Roy does perform and make it interesting for the fans. There's a big part of me that believes Roy is in abit of denial, I think it was telling when he said he wanted to become the showman again rather than a 'killer', IMO it'll be good entertainment but i get the feeling Roy will get real tired and might have to be stopped around the 10th/11th.

Can't wait now 5 days to go WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPIE!!! C'mon Roy;D

this fight is going to be massive im going to take a big risk and put a 10a on a draw i dont think this is the sort of fight you can call

When did he refer to god in the second one? I think all christians believe they draw strength from god since they believe he gave them everything they have. I don't think he is delusional at all.

I just watched the second one. I don't think Roy looks good at all.. he looks soooo OLD. :-\

Unless he sparks Calzaghe early-ish.. i see Roy getting stopped.

I personally don't see how Roy loses this...
