Armenian Boxers - Vanes Martirosyan & Vic Darchinyan

For a population of just under 3.4 million, Armenia has produced a disproportionate number of world-class boxers. Vic Darchinyan, Arthur Abraham, Khoren Gevor, and Vanes Martirosyan each descend from Armenia. I am sure other great Armenain boxers exist too.

P.S. When will Vanes fight a name contender? I understand he is still a prospect, but I think his time to step it up is quickly approaching.

Cuba is similar. Such a small little place producing such great fighters.

Even a top female flyweight (Susi Kentikian) who fights out of Germany is 22-0 with 16 KO's was born in Armenia.
