I been there. You just need to relax before you start working out. I found that a good warm up helps me get settled down so that I don't try too hard later on. It might take a little more than that to get you to relax. Try to get into the right frame of mind before you head to the gym, and rehearse how you'd like it to be when you get there. I have a half an hour drive to my gym, and using that down time to imagine what I want is like positive meditation for me.
If you're still having some trouble even after all that, then just catch yourself and turn it around by acting the opposite. Smiling helps, it even changes your brainwaves to a more composed state. Taking a few deep breaths can help get your body into the right tempo.

What's going on in your life? Elaborate? Could do with knowing a bit more.
Is it that you really have that much going on or is it your attitude towards it?
Don't know how old you are mate but no matter how good/bad life is there's always going to be things that affect your boxing and rather than getting rid of those things you're going to have to learn to deal with them in relation to your boxing.

I think in a way it depends on what you mean by too much.
Do you find you have too many time consuming commitments going on which make it difficult for you to fit training in without feeling you are sacrificing or failing at another commitment?
If so I would go and take a break to do whatever you have to do to catch up and come back to it. The sooner the better so you have less to catch up on. The problem with leaving it is the longer you do the further behind you end up.
Also you'll feel like you begin to resent any training sessions which didn't seem to achieve much and rather than feeling your training is a welcome stress reliever it will feel like a waste of time. Obviously this is bad because it's a rare coach who is good enough to make you feel like every session achieved something especially if you're lacking sleep and not recovering from your sessions properly.
Apart from that i'd think about how you feel about the training atmosphere. Can you make it or do you enjoy it enough for it to be a stress reliever in itself? Can you use it to help you cope?

Yeah that'll do it.
