David Haye not doing it the old fashioned Way
Haye should go and fight for the British, then Commonwealth and finally Europe titles before any title fight. Haye needs to prove his metal and standing against these fighters below and if he can do it against these fighters then maybe he can do it against the best:
Danny Williams (British Champ).......40-7-1
Matt Skelton (Commonwealth Champ)......30-12
Sinan Samil Sam (European Champ).....31-4
I think the only reason why he is not doing it the old fashioned way is because he knows he will get exposed at this level. He will gamble on getting a jackpot payout against one of the World champs before he gets knock out.
Job Biscuit (Shameful but true)!!!

He did it the old fashion way when he become CW world champ.
If he did it again then it would be just an extra 3 fights to get out of the way.
If he can get the big fights now then he should just go for it IMO.
Re: David Haye not doing it the old fashioned Way
I think it would be a good idea fast tracking Haye to a title shot cause the more warm up fights he has the more likely he will be exposed and knocked out.....apart from Holyfield I cannot think of any other cruiserweight who has gone up to heavyweight to win a heavyweight title
Job Biscuit (I like Hayes style but this style will get exposed sooner rather than later)!!!
eh eh!!

James Toney fought at CW then won the wba belt at HW only for it to get stripped for failing a drugs test.
Re: David Haye not doing it the old fashioned Way
Those 3 bums you list don't deserve to carry Haye's spit bucket.

Haye would slaughter Danny Williams inside 2 rnds
Haye would struggle against Sinan Samil Sam but eventually stop him in a scrappy affair
That would leave Matt Skelton who would be the most dangerous opponent to face. If Skelton soaks up the early on slaughter he could possibly stop Haye late
At least if Haye could get is hands on these titles he could have much better bargaining power for a title tilt
Job Biscuit (Any one for tea)!!!!!

Re: David Haye not doing it the old fashioned Way
He was undisputed Cruiserweight champ i don't think he has to go the old fashioned route thats just going backwards.
Re: David Haye not doing it the old fashioned Way
Danny Williams just got stopped by a total bum that would be a massive backwards step backwards. He only wants to fight the ranked fighters he says even tho that Barrett isnt ranked thay high he still is coming of a good ko win.
Re: David Haye not doing it the old fashioned Way
Some amusing posting... ;)

So would you say the same about Calzaghe and Hatton, who both moved up in weight?
Hes already a world champion yes at a different weight but he deosnt need Williams and fighters like Skelton.

If Haye had not already won the CW title I would agree but as of now he is just another world champion trying to move up in weight....
If he is or is not successful will only decide where he fights in the future
WTF do you end every post with Job Biscuit?....

Don't know if it's just me but this is the 1st time I read anything like this from you... I sent some Neg. Reps your way for this....
I gotta say this is as absurd of a topic as you'll read on here.
This thread only clears up one thing and that's that you hate Haye more then anything. Actually it clears up 2 things the other one is that you are not up to date with your boxing as Danny Williams was just stopped this past weekend vs. Sosnowski.
Why would Haye even bother fighting him?
Haye has reached heights that neither one of those 3 will ever reach, Hayes at another level.
Saying that Haye should fight them would be like saying if Darchinyan was to move up in weight he'd have to fight someone like Mabuza or Mares before he got a shot at the top guy.
Haye was the universally recognized undisputed champ, when you reach that status you can bet your monkey ass it opens up doors and when you add GBP as your partners shiiiiiiit you've pretty much sealed the deal.

At this point Daxx, as much as a haye fan as I am I think Toney has enough to beat him;)
Re: David Haye not doing it the old fashioned Way
This is a pointless thread.. Why all the Haye flack?? So many fighters that ruled their previous division moved up and ceremonisly got their shot at the next weight champ... Why is Haye any different?? Cause he is a bona fied threat and has all the ability to spark out Wladdy and that dont sit to well with most..
