Nonito Donaire's Dad is no longer his trainer, bit of a soap opera really
Can't help but think all the time since he beat Vic has been wasted to some extent. All these guys, Donaire, Linares, even Victor Ortiz have to get more active. I know there are some reasonable excuses, injuries and such but still.
Anyway this all is a bit dramatic. His father is upset with his new wife, he thinks his father wants too much money. Usually you fire a trainer after a loss but oh well.
I haven't seen this posted anywhere else, haven't looked too hard though.
from Yahoo Philippines, I assume we can post it.

I agree that Donaire has been wasting time.

I don't keep up enough but he claims that some of the Japanese 112 pounders don't want to fight him, meaning I guess Naito, Sakata, maybe Kameda.
Like I said I don't keep up enough to know if that's baseless or not. Sakata doesn't strike me as the ducking type, but there could be money issues, travel issues, etc. Other than that there's Pongsalek (not likely), Narvaez, a few other guys.

All of them japs ducked him. And Vic's handlers are now ducking him too.
