Because Paul Williams lost to Carlos Quintana who Paul Williams was heavily favored against. He did beat him impressively in the rematch, but he shouldn't of lost to him in the first place, plus he hasn't really made any noise in awhile.Quote:

I can't imagine why you would think the win over Cotto alone was not enough reason for Margo to be rated above Williams:-\
I just cant rate someone lower than someone they are better than and they have soundly beaten??

I do see your point fella, he beat Margo on points which was impressive but Margo stopped a great fighter in Cotto and Cotto was rated much highter than Williams. It's questionable no doubt but for me Margarito should be higher than Paul.Quote:

Williams victory over Margarito was razor thin and could have gone either way. Since that fight Williams got blown out by Quitana and then won a rematch. Tony went on to absolutely destroy two of the divisions top players.Quote:
