David Haye, is he the biggest cock in boxing?

I've just sat through that awful 'This is David Haye' show broadcast by Setanta a couple nights ago.

It's a half hour interview between Haye and sycophantic, fawning Steve Bunce whilst they walk through the parks of London or some shit.

Anyway it was clearly Haye in his element, doing what he loves to do best, i.e talk about himself and tell us how amazing he is.

You start watching it and after about 3 minutes you start to think 'My God, could this guy make himself sound any more unlikeable if he tried?', and amazingly he does! He rises to the challenge again and again and by the time the 30 minutes is up you are literally screaming at your monitor screen for Monte Barret to knock him out :mad:


Who is with me on this? Are there any other Brits who for tonight only wish to become honouary American's and cheer on our newly adopted favourite fighter Monte 'Two Guns' Barrett to victory over Britain's most arrogant and narcisstic man?

He's like Lord Flashheart from Black Adder, who arrives uninvited and then announces 'Ok let's talk about me until the cows come home'.


I've got everything crossed tonight that he gets KO'd in humiliating fashion. :mad:

Haye is a dick

I like him as a boxer and want him to do well cause he is a British heavyweight fighter with an exciting style how often do we get to say that.

Having said that I have a tenner on Barret sparking the chinny cunt in round 1 at 66/1

The more he builds himself up the farther he's going to fall when he loses....granted it won't be to Barrett but he WILL lose and sooner than expected

He does love himself a bit. On the Bunce show the other day he kept going on about how good he was, that he now moves like Tyson and is the quickest thing ever, apparently it scares him how good he is, knob.
Problem is with the weak Heavy division he might actualy do quite well. We'll see when he comes up against a decent big heavy weight who can punch.

Yeah, he is pretty arrogant. It was maybe a year ago or so that I sent him an email on how to increase his punching power and he didn't even say thanks. Prick.

....I wonder how many Brits will be celebrating behind closed doors when Wladimir demolishes David Haye....it will be more than want to admit it

Just don't tell us what you plan on doing behind closed doors if your idol beats Haye... :-X;)

Sorry but are you being serious with this comment ? why would he need some unknown to tell him how to increase his punching power ? he's professional boxer i think he knows what he's doing. And i think he's been doing alright so far he has an almost 100 percent KO record.

As for Bilbo yes i hate his attitude but i do like watching him inside the ring, so i'll be rooting for him all the way. We need an exciting Heavyweight like David Haye at the moment, to spice up the Heavyweight division.

I somehow had gotten on the mailing list for Hayes "Newsletter" and each time it would be nothing but telling everyone how great he is...Nothing about his plans or what is in store for the future just how great he is and degrading his future opp...In one newsletter he wrote..

"I am Britain's biggest star, I will be known as their greatest fighter of all time, right now I am one of the best the nation has ever produced. I only wish I had been able to start out sooner and rid of of the embaressment called Lennox Lewis"

Who the hell cares... The man is pure excitement and was the universally recognized linear Cruiserweight Champ, not some title holder... He knocks people out, with speed, power and athleticism.. The fact that he rambles on about how great he is, I attribute to him being a model and a penchant for the nightlife and ladies.. I cant help when I look at this to think back to all Bilbo's venom toward Haye and his self admitted jealousy for Hayes looks, money etc..

I for one rather see a guy like that who does things in spectacular fashion, than a friggin robot who puts you to sleep with constant pawing, clinching and tentative movements.. Those arent the qualities I desire for Boxing's historically rich division Champion.

You're completely wrong here JT. Now a robotic, emotionless, boring Russian with a Terminator style voice, now him I can get behind, he can be a badass but still not inspire jealously amongst lesser men, but Haye I just can't stand. Not only is he blessed with ridiculous levels of 'buffness' but he's Britain's best dressed man, a smash hit with the ladies and one of boxing's biggest talent's.

Now I could accept all of this if he was humble, or if he was cursed by God with a stupid voice a la David Beckham but Haye has seemingly been blessed with every attribute and does not have any embarrassing cross to bear. So when comes on tv and just talks about how mighty he is, and how glorious, he's basically just kicking sand in the faces of all us little guys.

I have never wanted a fighter to get more of a beatdown than I have David Haye. I hate everything about him, I hate what he stands for, I just hate him.

Call it the jealous rantings of a sad and petty man if you like but right now my little black heart is beating to the beat of the Two Gun salute and I will positively cackle and rub my hands together with evil glee if Haye gets sparked later tonight.

Come on God of the Hobbit's and little folk, please smite David Haye!
