Was Mayweather badly hurt in the Girard fight?
I know it was very early in his career, and it means nothing now, but I've heard people say Mayweather has never been badly hurt and I was wondering if that was the case in the Girard fight. It looks to me like he gets buzzed, but nothing too serious. The reason I ask is that I read something where someone said Girard had him "out on his feet" and I certainly don't see that.

Just a little stunned.
Re: Was Mayweather badly hurt in the Girard fight?

Re: Was Mayweather badly hurt in the Girard fight?
I've mentioned this before its probably one of the hardest flush shots, Floyd Mayweather has ever took. Up there witht he shot he took against DeMarcus Corley. Was this the fight with ODLH commentating ?

I think the commentary was in french.
Anyway...it's largely been irrelevant to how tough his chin is, because he's a defenisve genius who rarely gets hit.
On a side note, i still think Khan would benefit greatly from training with the Mayweathers and concentrate on developing a tight defence instead of coming out with the 'i got caught, it happens to everyone' rubbish.

I don't think this is the fight i remember, in another fight Floyd Mayweather Jr fight. The only thing i remember is the guy he was fighting was bald i believe, and ODLH was commentating and he took massive left hook i'll see if i can find it.

Re: Was Mayweather badly hurt in the Girard fight?
That was a pretty good shot.
Was kind of Smoger to let Floyd hold the guys head done while he hit him to the body and then call it a knockdown ;D
Re: Was Mayweather badly hurt in the Girard fight?
He took a good shot but did the old Floyd hang on a minute trick and recovered pretty quickly.
Re: Was Mayweather badly hurt in the Girard fight?
Yeh,He was buzzed, off the side of head.Leg did a little swing when he spun off ropes tieing up.....made him come back vicious.Really their has to tons of this to find of stuff on so many guys with the early obscure Buliding fights.
