Re: Telemundo this Friday
"El Canelo" Alvarez is one of my fav. prospects, the WW div. is deeeeeeeeeeep with talent and the new talent is also top notch.
If Alvarez wants to get in the mix he still has some things he needs to work on. His defense can get better and he needs to work on the jab.
He tends to fall for the lead right and does not use the jab at times.
I do like his output and his workrate, he puts punches together well and I like that he knows when to go for the finish.

I will definately follow Alvarez with great interest. If Pinzon opts for the straight right instead looping right hands he very well could test Alvarez's chin, when he gets carried away. At only 18 it would be a hard lesson learned.

Alvarez looks to have a huge push, nice promotions. To be straight up,I have only seen him once, fight with Mosley. He really appears strong as all helz.Thick and will wait on landing his own power in spots while opponent may counter and move.Mosley had a few moments with the jab, but Alvarez's strength is impressive and he is hard to 'move'.
