Question to SaddoBoxer: Will you be here on the 7th?
If you don't hold the record for the most pre-fight posts ever before any fight on this forum (and all spouting the same stuff over and over, ad nauseaum)... you must be pretty close.
You've spent hundreds of hours trying to convince everybody and their brother that this is a legitimate boxing event, and that Pacquiao not only has a chance, but that he will in fact defeat De La Hoya.
Many of us (myself included) feel the fight is a farce, with De La Hoya poised to feast on a much smaller man who, although brave enough to take the fight, has practically no chance of winning. And speaking for myself, I'm angry at De La Hoya for hyping this circus as a legitimate fight, instead of having done the honorable thing and face a REAL welterweight.
I've gone on record MANY times saying that if I had to bet, I'd bet on a De La Hoya victory, maybe even by KO. But that if I had my wish, it would be Pac winning by KO. But to me it's a hopeless cause. Oscar ain't no fool, and he wouldn't have taken this farce...er... fight, if he wasn't dead sure he would win. Pac poses no real danger to Oscar.
But what I REALLY want to know is: Supposing DLH mops the floor with Pacquiao.... will you be man enough to show up here on the 7th? Or will you go AWOL for the next few weeks/months, till the whole thing blows over? Inquiring minds want to know. 'Cause you sure have made a name for yourself over the past couple of months.
Re: Question to SaddoBoxer: Will you be here on the 7th?
I'm not really forcing the issue here that PAC will win this fight... What I'm pointing out is that PAC has a chance as against to totally writing off PAC saying he has no chance at all of winning...
I think most of you already read my other thread titled "PAC has a chance to win..." . There's some analysis there by some boxing writers showing how PAC can possibly win the fight...
PAC is expected to lose this fight, then no big deal for a Hoya victory but a PAC win will send a shock wave to the whole boxing world...
I already sounded like a broken record here... ;D
Having said that, I will be here after the fight... since win or loss, there's nothing to be ashamed of of supporting PAC in this fight... ;)

Re: Question to SaddoBoxer: Will you be here on the 7th?
Well, you must have changed your tune since you first began talking about the fight, because I distinctly remember you being absolutely sure that Pac would beat DLH. But kudos to you for being analytical about it.
Anyway, and for the record, I hope you're here on the 7th celebrating a Pac win, 'cause I sincerely Pac pulls off the major upset and DLH's bid for a legacy-cementing fight backfires on him.
Re: Question to SaddoBoxer: Will you be here on the 7th?
I gotta say, I think Saddoboxer has a bit of an undeserved reputation around here. Is he a Pac-fan? No doubt, but I've seen him logically discuss other fights as well, he called the Molitor - Caballero fight very accurately.
He's a rabid Pac-fan, but I don't really think he's one of the fan-boys who show up and act like idiots for a month prior to a Pac fight and then disappear a week after the fight only to show up again a month before the next Pac fight...
Goddamnit, I just defended one of Pac's fans. I'm off to shoot myself, it's been fun gents (and ladies).

Everybody really wants PAC to win... Only their logic says otherwise... How can a midget overwhelmed a giant? It's a very difficult task but let's just accept that the midget has a chance...
I can't wait for Saturday to arrive... ;D

LOL. Saddoboxer, are you a sports commentator from the Philippines? I'm believing that you are somewhat related to Pacquaio. Hehehe.

yeah thats what im thinking too.. the way he present his case about pacman seems he is a writer or something within the camp of pacman. Pac fans are really from other dimension when it comes to rooting their hero.
Re: Question to SaddoBoxer: Will you be here on the 7th?
I definitely don't think SaddoBoxer will leave. He's here to stay on this forum. I do admit that he knows what he's talking about.
I just don't like the overkill at times. That's all.
Re: Question to SaddoBoxer: Will you be here on the 7th?
There's no reason for me to run... This is a win-win situation for PAC... PAC will never disappoint his fans, win or loss... He will come to fight in every fight... unless his opponent is not willing to...
BTW, I'm a veteran member here in case some of you didn't notice my joining date, November 2005. Been here since the old days of Wacko's RBRs... ;D Been in many boxing discussion forums and I can say that SaddoBoxing forum is a class above the rest...

That was not hard to do. Molitor is just an average fighter
