Don't bother with the old really, I caught the end of it the other week. Finished flat I thought.ok anti nuclear message for the time though.
Probably noit the greatest Film of all time, but I enjoyed the message.
nah im on about the new one, its got keano reeves in it.. Ive seen the trailor and its got some crazy special effects in it
It doesn't open in theaters until this Friday, so I haven't read any reviews on it yet.

wow...I just watched some of this, the old version, on turner classic movies not long ago, like a few weeks and was thinking it would be a good remake, like War of the Worlds. Now that I think on it, it was likely why they were showing it then...knowing this was coming out. I only caught about 10 mins and am glad now so it won't be spoiled.Quote:

ha yea...that came out wrong. I like ROTTEN TOMATOES: Movies - New Movie Reviews and Previews! and use it for referencing everything movie related.
I do find it accurate for the most part, although I still say they and the entire world screwed up the reviews for "Grandmas Boy", as it was one of the funniest movies I have ever seen.
There are a bred of 'movie snobs' I call them over there with blogs and such who are forever trashing remakes.

THe reviews for Grandmas Boy sound off though, they make it sound like the worst movie in the world it was definitely worth the watch even if it fell shorter then some of the other comedies in recent years.
