Marquez can throw a wrench in Pacquiao vs Hatton

-Tam Seddon has mentioned before that a Marquez vs Hatton match would be a good match-up.

-At first, a lot of people rejected the idea. But after Marquez knocked out Casamayor, people started thinking differently.

-After Manny's win last night, it obvious that a Hatton vs Pacquiao match is going to happen.

-I read an article today that said Manny is going to take a little break and won't fight again til June.

Does anyone else think Marquez can possibly ruin a potential Hatton vs Pacquiao superfight by calling out Hatton and fighting him between now and June? Marquez is always going to chase Manny and by calling out Hatton and challenging him, he would corner Manny if he could pull off the win.

Can it happen? Does anyone else think this is a good idea?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Mayweather get in on that action - Mayweather/Pacquiao would be huge. There have been rumblings of a Hatton/JMM showdown for awhile now, so I bet those two get it on while Pacquiao is chilling.

Any way this plays out, there's certain to be some hellacious fights coming up in 2009 around 140-147.

There will be more money in a Pacman Hatton fight because Marquez is not as well known to casual fans as Manny.

I'd fancy Marquez Hatton and Pacman Hatton in 2009 that would be fantastic. If we had Pacman and Marquez at LWW it would make for some good fights and shake up a lacking division.

The thing here is that GBP has both Hatton & JMM so chances are we will see the fight happen.

I personally think JMM should stay at Lightweight, I don't like the idea of him moving up to 140.

I think Marquez needs to stay right where he is.He is not a Jr.Welter nor is he young.I think Hatton vs.Pac would be a fiery match up and do very well.Obviously Manny is not going to clean up his lightweight division so it is onward and upward from here.Mayweather should...if he chooses to "Un-retire" Imo get back in line after a long layoff.

Pacquiao is now in the driver's seat, he calls the shots now and that means Mayweather will need to make a decision soon or miss out to Hatton. Pacman would make a fortune fighting Hatton in the UK, he could ask any price and the Hatton camp wouldn't argue.
My bet is Pac V Hatton in June/July in the UK
