Rafael Marquez + Israel Vazquez
right these 2 had three great fights, but there last fight was back in March, how come neither have fought since and have either of them got a fight coming up? personally I'd like to see them(either one) fight the following:
Caballero, Ponce De Leon and Juanma Lopez
its a great division with loads of great fights in the making, lets get them on! ;D

Indeed....Fighters who have had easy bouts have taken off longer then they have at the moment...
Thise 2 had 3 wars in a short period of time...the kind that ends careers...a year off is not so bad...both are fairly young and have some years left in their careers why do anything to jeopardize that at the moment...
Re: Rafael Marquez + Israel Vazquez
Would love to see one of this guys spark JuanMa

;D Yeah Izzy would be my fav. for him.
Re: Rafael Marquez + Israel Vazquez
Like I said in another thread, I think both Izzy & Rafa did soo much damage to eachother that neither one will be the same when they climb back in the ring and they'll be there for the taking. I hope I'm wrong...
Actually I would like to see both Rafa & Izzy make some money fighting some "easy" guys out there just to get money I think for the 3 fights they gave us they deserve to have some pay days.
With fighters like JuanMa, Jhonny, Poonsawat, Caballero, Molitor & Cordoba who are hungry and have not been in wars like they have and are more complete I'd give them all a very good chance at beating either one.

Thats why I said they need the time off Mick...Rest and rebuild...Young enough not too lose what they have left.....
To this day I believe it is the wars that ruined Gatti later in his career making him unable to take much abuse before his body would wilt....Sad thing is his mind would refuse to and both Rafa and Izzy are the same way when it comes to fighting to the end.....
By mid spring both should be fully recovered...Take a few easy fights and by end of 2009 remind everyone why they are the premier fighters at those weights by taking on some of these up and comers
Re: Rafael Marquez + Israel Vazquez
If anyone DESERVED and EARNED a rest, it would be those two men...
Re: Rafael Marquez + Israel Vazquez
I hope these guys make some big cash easy like Cutmemick said. The guys deserve it now. I kinda hoped the Izzy v Arce fight went ahead cos it'd make Izzy cash with little effort needed. The 122 division is stacked at the moment and no one will be an easy fight for them. Juan ma is good, Caballero could be anything, and guys like Molitor, Ponce, and the like are always dangerous.
Did i mention i love superbantam?
Re: Rafael Marquez + Israel Vazquez
I agree on everyone here... Soldiers who survived on series of wars definitely needs long rest
Re: Rafael Marquez + Israel Vazquez
I'd like to see Rafa against JuanMa. I just hope Rafa, after the "QUEZ Wars", will still have enough to repulse a JuanMa.
Juan Manuel Lopez' time for the bigtime, if he can bring it. Then certainly, were looking at someone, with PPV potential!
