the people who stay in on friday nights...

Ok, so i had the day off, figured i'd go out early and have a cracking night, town must be heaving now this close to x mass, my bank account is very healthy - it was looking to be a cracking night.

however, my best friend and his wife are in the hospital and are expecting their first child, beens tuck there since like 9 this morning, so i get the call asking to go down theirs to look after their pooch, walk it feed etc...

So i'm wondering, what the hell do people do when they stay in on a friday night? the only time i ever stay in is if i have been working late, and by then i have normaly stopped off or had a drink around town first before coming home so the night is pretty much over...

Checked the Tv guide and well, it's shit lol - so what do people do?

Worked the Doors for 15 years, love staying in at weekends rather than going out. When or if I do Im always looking for it Kicking off, old Habits never die ;D.

Video Games, Movies. sometimes me and the old lady just want some recovery from the week.

couldn't do that lol, enjoy dinrking and partying way to much man

I done a favour to the guy who run my local once and worked the bar on a saturday night.

He was short staffed, and being my local i had been in my fair few share of lockins there, and you know how they go, you end up putting it through the till your self, so knowing that i knew he asked me to work a shift.

fuck, i spent more money drinking while working then i did on a normal night, not just that everyone was buying me one with their ones, i don;t know how many pints and sambukas i went thorugh that night but it was close to an all time record for me lol, and i do enjoy a drink lol


i must of been fucked coz i woke up with one of the bar girls at her place the next day, nice body but, well lets just say a brown paper bag would come in handy for her fi you know what i mean:P

The same way some look forward to going out on friday's i look forward to being in the house and kicking it with my family. You pretty much need a vest and pistol to go out around here these days, i got too much too loose. We stay plenty entertained and then when they go to sleep i get to play with momma.

usually have a night out on friday straight from work but all depends what i am doing the Saturday (two nights back top back kill me these days !)

Am off to see Steve Coogan tomorrow night in Leeds then for a few beers and a curry round town so staying in tonight.

Got the new Bond to watch and ordering a curry - sorted !
