Great matchup if it happens. Gamboa is gonna get exposed once he tastes some real competitions. Caballero is for real.
This fight will make or break Yuriokis Gamboa i think he has looked very beatable. In the past despite his athletic attributes and ETC. Although he has always comeback from a knockdown, i think he needs to get more technical.Quote:

And i just had a look at boxrec and he's fighting some guy called, Roger Gonzalez on January the 9th. I really can't see this fight happening i just think its all smoke and mirrors and just rumours, really can't see Yuriokis Gamboa moving down.
Caballero would be moving up to 126.

Gamboa would get stopped in this fight. He doesnt have enough experience at this momment in time. Caballero should concentrate on fighting Lopez, Vazquez or Marquez, leave moving up after he has some career definers
I think people think way to much of gamboa win or loose. The guy has only like a handful of pro fights with a bunch of mistakes like he should have at this stage and now he should fight caballero ?? Gamboa should move a little quicker than most i guess with his amature exp and hype and all but he should still take his time you're not in cuba anymore we won't beat the bottoms of your feet for loosing and all that stuff. Anyhow caballero will beat him of course, i'm just not as quick to see gamboa get beat as most are i guess.
I like Caballero. I thank him for ridding us of Steve Molitor. But his style is just made for Gamboa. Gamboa does have a lot of flaws. But Caballero doesn't have the style to expose them. All he does is punch. That's exactly what Gamboa wants.
I strongly doubt Ahmet would throw Gamboa in the ring with someone like Caballero...
I'm calling bullshit on this one.
