I've seen his most famous ones against Mosley, Vargas, Hopkins, Tito, Vasquez, Quartey, ETC. Now im looking to get some of his early fights, the problem is i have no idea where to start.
I've been watching some real technical masters of late, getting all there fights like Wilfred Benitez, Mike McCallum. And now im looking to get more knowledge on Winky Wright, any help will be appreciated.
Check out his fight with Tony Marshall. Winky Wright at his best. Fight took place in France. On the undercard of a Khalid Rahilou fight. I'm not 100% sure, but if I remember correctly I think Ike Quartey also fought in the same card.Quote:

Yes he did i just checked it up and he fought some guy called, Bobby Butters. I do like me some Ike Quartey aswell but i can't find many of his fights, his jab was probably the best jab i've seen except for Larry Holmes.Quote:

some members on here have talked about how poorly Wright did against Soliman, frankly i just don't think Sam did a helluva lot in that fight.
i enjoy all of winkys fights except for the hopkins fight. the vargas fight was a robbery. theres none in the file board?? i usually see the same ones.
I just watched Winky Wright vs Keith Mullings, i remember Keith Mullings because i not long ago see him beat Terry Norris. Overall pretty solid performance from Winky Wright, he used more more movement than i've seen him use before. And he threw some nice quick combinations, and of course very effective with his famous right jab.
Im having alot of trouble finding his fight against Tony Marshall, i've just got 2 of his fights against Bronco McKart, i can't find the 1st meeting, but at the moment im just working my way through his early title defenses, the ones i haven't seen.
