Humberto Soto Re-targets Lorenzo Saturday

Finally Soto looks to set the record straight against Francisco Lorenzo for a Lightweight belt Saturday in Mexico.Lorenzo,who more or less 'opted' out of their initial bout,with the assist of an indecisive Ref.Joe Cortez Imo was dominated,busted up and bloody in a one sided fight for the WBC Lightweight strap months ago,upon being feld by a barrage of punches as much as conceding on a knee...he was clipped by an errand 'punch' off the rear of the head and then the bureaucracy and over regulation began on the part of a seemingly confused Cortez.The obvious and natural flow of the fight would come to a crashing halt,even as Cortez had apparently been stepping in moments earlier too possibly stop the drubbing?Lorenzo would be the recipient of an early Christmas gift,put on a show and Imo...worked the ref like a puppet master.After much confusion and conferring with ring side officials in a scramble....Cortez inexplicably called for a disqualification,as opposed to point deductions etc.Flashes of Luis Santana vs.Terry Norris were blinding,but at least Santana was able to land and hurt Norris prior to his Oscar winning moment.Took three fights to set that right.......here's to hoping Soto makes it decisive, quick and concussive :fight:

Soto is going to punish him. He wont have a chance to hit him on the way down cause hes gonna fall like a bag of bricks.

Poor Lorenzo, gonna get an ass beating, actually has had some gutsy performances, beat Nate Campbell (granted a weight drained corpse of Nate Campbell but still)

I just hope Cortez doesn't weasel his way into the third man position.
