ESPN Classic getting a LITTLE better.
Just finished watching a few fights from ESPN Classic's Hispanic telemarathon (or however it was called). Kudos for showing that. The average boxing fan needs to know that there are more great fights out there than waiting for the next Tyson or Ali to show up. I saw Vazquez-Marquez II (what a bloody, exquisite war), Cotto-Quintana, Corrales-Casamayor I and II. Wonderful stuff!! ESPN needs to more of this for sure.

That's good to know. I think it's the best way to get new fans into the sport. They should promote these shows a little more in the main ESPN channel.

Its a nice boon for me,usually business happens late at night, because nobody wants to talk business until their gyms closed, and Ive got to talk to the West Coast alot it means half the time Im just getting off the phone at 1 or 2 AM my time,so it gives me something to wind down to
Re: ESPN Classic getting a LITTLE better.
Yeah, ESPN Classic , thank god, plays some good boxing.
Re: ESPN Classic getting a LITTLE better.
On ESPN Classics I got hooked on Donald Curry, he was a brilliant fighter. Also saw Duran at lightweight he was vicious. It certainly cemented my love for boxing.
Re: ESPN Classic getting a LITTLE better.
Yeah ive been watching ESPN Classic a lot lately too. Those Marquez-Vasquez fight always draw me in no matter how many times ive seen em. Lorenzo-Marquez was on recently and I enjoyed that one too. I love when a hard working veteran upsets an undefeated guy.
Re: ESPN Classic getting a LITTLE better.
They have had a great run today,Started with Bramble vs. Mancini II and ending right now with Lennox Lewis vs.Ray Mercer....what a rugged good fight:fight:
Also hearing the different commentary,Iceman Scully not bad on the Call.
