This is a fascinating article showing that one species of dung beatle is no longer content with rolling shit and has decided to live on millipides, ten times its size instead!

It actually hunts down the millipedes who presumably just think its on its way to eat some poop and instead it turns on it and kills the millipede and eats him :o

This is quite extradoardinary behaviour in a way as its very rare for a scavenger animal to suddenly turn carnivore, and certainly not a dung beatle which have been rolling shit since the times of the dinosaur.
