It all comes down to Floyd Mayweather. He won't admit to himself that he is gay for floyd and he is repressing his true feelings. this has gave him a lot of hate and anger towards PBF. a bit like the gay bloke who shoots Kevin Spacey in American Beauty

Luckily Cotto had been pretty sucseful at Light Welter and was making a move up to Welter with a shit load of hype and promise.
Again he had enough hype and because he was coming up in weight his potential against Floyd was open to a lot of debate and wide speculation.

I am not sure if I can agree with that. The only big names I see in his resume are Judah and Mosley (who was no piece of cake). Not so sure if we can say that Judah was in his prime. Other than that, just bunch of C+ guys / good journeymen. Cotto is good, sure, but if I compare his resume to others' its just ok.
