Saddoboxing.com legend pays respect to two other boxing legends
Evening - just back from 3 weeks away . Am jetlagged so off to bed soon but just thought I would put a few pics up of when I paid my respects in USA to two other boxing legends.
I realise I also owe the forum 3 Friday gags ;)
I will upload pics from my 'Rocky' tour of Philadelphia in the Lets Get it On forum Monday - when I get up...
Was in Washington so visited Arlington and the resting place of the great Joe Louis (yes he was beaten by Marciano but he was 75 years old !)

then onto Philadelphia where we got a private tour of the Blue Horizon - the grandad of boxing theatres. The atmosphere here must be fantastic when there's a card on. Also met Veronica Michael who has office here - the first afro american female boxing promoter. Was great and had plenty
of time for us to chat about the place's history - and future !

another photo from the back of the toilet door in the Blue Horizon.
Despite exhaustive investigation I am unable to wether or not Joe was doing a wee or a poo when he signed this in 2007 ;)
