I think it would put him right among them at the top, although for me Pryor will always be the best. But you could make an argument for Ricky being the best.
I'd have him scraping the top 10 because he has spent his whole career there, but only if he knocks out Pac and has no more losses to decent opposition.
Yes. Scraping the top 10 :)
Somewhere just outside the top 10.
Off the top of my head I can't see Ricky higher then these guys.
JCC
Cervantes
Tszyu
Locche
Perkins
Pryor
"Morocho" Hernandez
Loi
Coggi
Randall
All I can think of is a certain Hatton fan who thinks DLH ( or was it PBF?) should fight a real fucking welterweight, I wanna know what he thinks.
Well... Let us take a look... Since the almighty Ring Magazine:rolleyes: currently rates him as #9 and he beat the current #1 and the Current #1 beat the Current #2 then I'd say unless you dropped the Current #1 & #2 he'd have to be rated #1.

the win would do nothing really to prove he's one of the best jr. welters ever, for the same reason Oscar was being thrashed for fighting Pacquiao, Hatton is the bigger fighter, and he's fighting a man who is really his best IMO at 130/135
