I say Chambers because of superior technique, faster hands, and higher ring IQ, but he must stay away from Peter's rabbit-like shots. Except against Oleg, Sam has not demonstrated as much power as many think he has. At the same time, Chambers seems to have developed more pop. Could be an interesting match-up. Chambers also slashe with his shots and renders cuts on his opponets. His big weakness is that he is overly relaxed and too tentative at times.
Let's get it on....
I reckon Peter will take it, his chin is good enough to take Chambers' shots, & I think he's got enough power to take him out in 8.
I'll go with Chambers at this stage, probably a lot more self belief, Peter has looked increasingly poor of late.
I wouldn't be that suprised if it ended up like the Chambers Rossey fight.
I hope fast Eddie wins, Peter brings nothing to the table any more, we already know he's going to be hopelessly outclassed at the top level so I don't really care much about him, especially after his dismal showing against Vitali.
I'm more interested in seeing hungry young punchers like Haye and Arreola get their chance in the limelight than Peter at the present time.
sam peter vs eddie chambers has the makings of Tua vs Oquendo.
I haven't been keeping track of Chambers but I remember once the final bell rang against Povetkin, Chambers' coach was yelling at him about how he's not taking training seriously and he needs to focus.
Has he changed his habits? Or is he still slacking off?
I would love it if Eddie Chambers won. This might be sad if I really think about it, but Chambers might be my favorite heavyweight, maybe outside of Haye. I don't find him boring at all, he just needs to get in shape so he can stay consistent.
I'll go with him by decision, hopefully he doesn't get intimidated, if he doesn't he should have enough to win.
If Chambers' stamina holds up then he outpoints Peter if not he'll get KO'd.

Someone with Peter's power can bail himself out of situations. He isnt exactly Ibeubuchi where he had some skill and power. But Peter looked really bad against Vitali. Its easy to forget how high on his some people were after he decisively beat James Toney.
But now I'd pick Chambers if he was consistant every round. But Chambers and consistancy don't seem to fit well. He could win the fight but I think Peter is gonna stop him late while trailing the cards, like Tua and Oquendo.
Anyone got a source? I have heard nothing of this fight being in the works.
