Has Panama Lewis worked with anyone since resto?

I was wondering since this guy didn't get a lifetime ban, which he should have. If anyone hired him as a trainer since being released from prison. I know he cant work the corners but maybe he trains then someone else does the fight...

I believe he's got a ringside ban but continues to work 'off screen'

I think he trained, was actually in the corner of, one or both of the Ibragimovs for a while.

Or Chagaev?

And didn't he do something with Tyson?

Hes banning from enetering the ring, but he still trains and works with fighters and shows up at weigh-ins. I think he works with Daniel Edouard and a few other active fighter. He worked with Imbromivog and Tyson in the past too. I dont know why any fighter would give him any opportunity as he is the ultimate scumbag and deserves to still be locked up.

absolutely...

He worked with Duran after the Resto incident as some kind of 'advisor'. Not sure of the fight, but its in Four Kings by George Kimball. It might of been Leonard-Duran III but not sure

He worked with Oba Carr for awhile, he was in the corner for Trinidad-Carr, which took place in Mexico.

As someone said above, he was only banned from working corners in the US, he can still train fighters, sit in the stands, etc.

He's obviously scum though, and I look down on any fighter who would associate themselves with him.

I agree. He doesnt deserve to be anywhere near fighters or involved in boxing in any way. You wouldnt allow a convicted pedophile around kids. The same standard should apply to Lewis and boxing.

Actually I think you might be right maybe it was the Briggs fight I was thinking of...I remember them making a big deal about him not being able to come to the ring but pointing out that he had been the head trainer in Camp

Tyson trained with Lewis and I think Sultan Ibragimov had him as a special trainer as well....he was never ringside as he's banned from doing so
