Raul has put 1 up, a peach of a goal may I add.

Just last week he passed DiStefano for the most goals scored for the club Real Madrid.

Well when I posted that the time had passed...

The time is now 41 mintues and were up 5-1 with another top goal by Raul who is playing at his best.

Make that 6-1, Sergio Ramos just scored on a set piece with a header.

Barca lost to Espnayol 2-1...
Which puts Real only 10 points behind them... :cool:

Real plays Espnayol next week. Should be a helluva game. :)

Like I said earlier in the other soccer thread, it's to early to be saying Barca will champion again. I know they've been dominant but still you just never know what's gonna happen. Theres still plenty of soccer left in the season. I hope it's a close race to the finish like it was for 06-07..

Both Espanyol & Real Betis are teams that give Barca & Real lots of trouble when playing them. For 06-07 vs. Espanyol had Real down 1-3 by half time but we cameback in dramatic fashion to win 4-3 in a top performance.

Lets hope Madrid give a similar performance on wednesday against the scousers.
