Calzaghe's final fight - Against Warren
Interesting read....
Yesterday Ron Thwaites, counsel for Frank Warren, said Calzaghe will claim he ended his relationship with Warren because he felt he was “unfairly exploited”. He added that the boxer, who earned more than £16m in a 43-fight career that spanned 15 years, will claim he was “bullied and pressured into signing agreements … when he was mentally and physically tired as a result of heavy training … and that he signed under duress.”

You mean the same Warren who has never seen such disloyalty i.e. Calzaghe! The shock, the horror:o
Re: Calzaghe's final fight - Against Warren
Warren is a prick. How much money has Calzaghe made for him through blood and sweat over the years?? And all they had was a verbal agreement? I've made plenty of verbal agreements and then changed my mind. It's just a shame Calzaghe didn't do it sooner.
I still can't believe people have been paying PPV's to watch Amir Khan fight tomato cans either. Frank Warren is a despicable man, taking too many people for a ride.
I hope Calzaghe gets through this intact and Barrera beats the crap out of Khan. Those are the just deserts Warren deserves.

You're forgetting the fact of selling his soul to the devil for success.
Re: Calzaghe's final fight - Against Warren
Joe promoted a show last friday i think.. nice to see hes still in the game ;)
no comment on Warren... i just see it as a dead crow nailed to a scarecrow.
you pin it there as a warning to all the other crows ;)
Re: Calzaghe's final fight - Against Warren
Warren and these verbal fucking agreements, first with Hatton now Calzaghe, if thats the case you think Frank would of learnt his lesson in the Hatton affair to get the fighter signed up on a contract.
Warren can fuck himself he just hates the fact when boxers he has brought from nothing hit the bigtime they usually leave him behind which is fair enough to be honest as Warren isnt a player in the States and these men who risk there life in the ring deserve as much money as they can make.
Re: Calzaghe's final fight - Against Warren
Perhaps if he loses to Warren he will comeback to make some more cash.
Re: Calzaghe's final fight - Against Warren
Hope Joe wins and bankrupts Warren like King did.
